International figure skating academy in Finland
International Ice skating Academy in Finland with full board for skaters from Advace Novice untill Senior level.
The goal of the academy is to develop and prepare skaters to achieve high results at the international level and at the level of their Natioinal Championchips.
Structure of academy
- The training of figure skaters in the academy is based on a clearly individual planned training and competition season.
- It consists of blocks of techical and choreographic training on ice and comprehensive physical and techical training off the ice.
- Ice training takes place in a group and includes daily work on jumps, spins and steps techniques. As well as work on choreography.
- Systematic program rollouts are held in a training format as well as control open skates in front of judges, techical specialists and spectators.
- Off-ice work is an important part of figure skaters training. At different period of the season skaters work on physical qualities and jumping techique. Modern training equipment is used for this, icluding work on a rotation machine.
- Weekly ballet classes and acting work
- For recovery and injury prevention, work with a physio- and massage therapist.
- Comfortable accommodation at the Saimaa Life Hotel, 1-2 people per apartment
- Meals 3 times a day
- Internet access
- 24/7 control by the administration
- Space for self-study and learning
- Walking distance to the entire infrastructure of the academy
